All the best
laid plans can't out smart or out run the weather. The more we hear about
the weather system that started
over the SBC
weekend resulting extensive flooding, interstate closings, and loss of property
and crops, the
luckier we should
all feel that we had a relatively smooth weekend of showing. We got into the
big pen for one full
day of super-fun runs.
Its so good to get out and stretch those patterns in the great outdoors.
Even the horses were
smiling. We also
got a glimpse of the class of 2008 futurity horses early Sunday morning... nice
group! Thank you sponsors
for supporting this
wonderful show and to Janice Fier for her impeccable management. Thank you to
the many Illinois
reiners who
participated and we look forward to the next show when we can share
time together. We hope all in the flood affected areas in Iowa and Illinois are
headed to full recovery!!
